Mission

The Delta Green Integrator group mission is primarily founded on the focus of environmentally friendly products, services and methodologies, to promulgate greener corporate values and life-sustaining products. These values, products and services will specifically target two vital transportation sectors: Aerospace and Marine; in addition to develop an innovative and dynamic enterprise, for which the headquarters and main activities will be primarily located at the Delta County Airport. It aims to offer a complete range of highly integrated quality products and services developed to cater to aerospace and marine OEM's. The mission is also to ensure the profitability and growth of each business unit within the company; specifically aiming to grow Delta Green Integrator through innovative technologies, research and development, a structured sales network and portfolio of clients.

Vision

Our vision is to create a premier industry cluster (manufacturing, R&D, engineering, training, completion/refurbishment, painting) surrounding the integration of sustainable (lightweight) aircrafts and marine parts, components, sub-systems and systems. Furthermore, the cluster will focus on refurbishment and maintenance of ships and aircrafts. Delta Green Integrator also intends to support industry/academia research around "greener" aircraft and marine parts and components, greener manufacturing methodologies and more recyclable products.

Goals

The Delta Green Integrator goals are to:

  1. Help OEM's and major suppliers with the management of their supply chain, by providing core integration services of parts and components to supply sub-systems and systems.
  2. Design, engineer and reengineer lighter more durable products for the marine and aerospace sectors.
  3. Provide turnkey solutions and services for ship and aircraft refurbishment and maintenance.
  4. Work with academia and government agencies to support the research and development for more environmentally friendly aircraft interior parts and components.
  5. Support the development of a larger marine cluster on the western side of the Lake Michigan.

History

The Delta Green Integrator is the start-up joint venture company created from the business skill and leadership of seven Michigan Upper Peninsula companies. What started as an idea and a concept is today evolving into a full scale legal and operational business. The core activities are located in Delta County (MI).

The concept also stems from the work of the Upper Michigan Green Aviation Coalition which has supported the development of multiple aerospace projects at various airports in the region.

Legal Structure

DELTA GREEN INTEGRATOR is under the governance of a board of directors elected among senior executives from the members of the DELTA GREEN INTEGRATOR cluster. The cluster members are companies, suppliers and strategic partners involved or interested in aircraft and marine integration.
